My Conservation qualification enables me to carry out historic assessments of registered landscapes, design gardens for listed buildings and conservation areas. My knowledge of the history of garden design is broad and guides me when designing gardens that are a kin to a design era or period reproductions.

Many of the gardens in and around Bath are connected to a long history, which needs to be taken into consideration when designing. My masters in Conservation of Historic Landscapes means that I am able to assess and understand the requirements of such a garden, identifying its significance and features that should remain in order to create a new design that has sympathy with its surroundings.

I am qualified to write Conservation Management plans, Landscape Character Assessments and advise on gardens listed under Historic Parks and Gardens scheme, as well as create contemporary designs within an historic setting.
