To enhance an already established garden of a handsome Georgian home.
The large gardens contained some magnificent mature trees, attractive stone walls and an established orchard but there were no planting areas or places to sit to enjoy the remarkable setting.
The front garden was completely re modelled, with a new hornbeam hedge, pennant flagstone paths flanked by formal box hedging, topiary and lavender.
At the back, the areas near the house were paved with new flagstones and cobbles to provide ample seating and interesting detail leading to pair of restored arbours. A large arc was cut into the rectangular lawn to create a deep herbaceous border full of scent and colour. Various artefacts were placed around the garden to create interest, drawing you further into reveal the sunken vegetable garden and orchard.
