Woodland Garden


Design Brief
To create a family garden with formal seating area and traditional herbaceous borders in a woodland setting. 

Before
Apart from a raised patio area and a few beds the garden had no real structure or usable spaces. The woodland area was inaccessible and did not link with the rest of the garden.

 Solution
 The raised patio was redeveloped and new winding level lawn created flanked by herbaceous borders. The woodland floor was cleared in pockets to introduce new swathes of planting creating a mass of spring colour and structure through out the year.
