Design Brief
After major building work the basic terrace structure had been laid out along with a new extension to the house. The brief was to link the existing lower terrace with the new level / buildings, in a formal style.

A level area with some paving and a pond.

Solution
A detail path linked the pavilion with existing steps to the lower terrace. A formal arrangement of gravel, lawn and a strategically placed statue, sundial and seat created a garden with formal elegance and structure. Mature box topiary and a pond gave the garden an established atmosphere.
